This Year's Challenge will be to create a Fractured Fairy Tale.  These are traditional fairy tales told with a new twist.  For examples check out the books listed below.  Only stories written as a fractured fairy tale will be considered.  Contest is open to all Michigan students K-12.  1000 words or fewer, please.  Stories over 1000 words will not be considered.  Sorry, but because of the high entry number, we are unable to return stories.  (Make a copy before you give it to us if you want it!)

• Entry Deadline: Sunday, February 21, 2010.  Entries submitted after 5pm will not be considered.

• Winners will be contacted Monday, March 1st.

Awards Ceremony: March 11, 6-7pm

Each story must have an accompanying entry form.  *Entry forms will be available, here(bottom of the page) and in the store February 1st.

Divisions: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12
